I knew right away that I would do a recipe for my how-to&#8230;because who doesn&#8217;t love watching other people make food? I had no idea what recipe I would choose though. \ufffd<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been interested in vegan\ufffdfood, so I&#8217;ve been trying tons of vegan recipes. \ufffdThey aren&#8217;t as terrible as\ufffdI thought they&#8217;d be! \ufffdI actually really enjoyed the entire process of this assignment. \ufffdI&#8217;m glad I didn&#8217;t wait until the last minute to start this because I probably saved myself several nervous breakdowns.<\/p>\n<p>This assignment was right up my ally. \ufffdI love love love making food, writing about food, etc., so I felt right at home\ufffdworking on this assignment. \ufffdWhile I&#8217;ve never done a video how-to for a recipe, I was so excited to jump right in and try it. \ufffdI&#8217;ve seen so many\ufffd<a href=\"http:\/\/spoonuniversity.com\/videos\">Spoon University video how-to&#8217;s<\/a>, so I wanted to make mine as similar to those as possible. \ufffdI was grateful that I got to shoot this assignment in my well-lit kitchen at my house, rather than my apartment on campus because lighting really is everything.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9682\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9682\" style=\"width: 353px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/offtheshelfandonline.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9682\" src=\"https:\/\/offtheshelfandonline.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"353\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teaching-without-borders.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teaching-without-borders.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teaching-without-borders.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teaching-without-borders.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_6820-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 353px) 100vw, 353px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9682\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Banana bread ready to eat.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I had to re-shoot this assignment because after putting it all together, I realized I forgot to put a shot in where I mentioned what temperature to preheat the oven to. \ufffdI also was not happy with the lighting in a few of my shots since it was getting darker out. \ufffdSo the second time around, I made sure to shoot with plenty of daylight. \ufffdI was already making the bread for my parents one more time before I left for school anyway, so it was not inconvenient at all to re-shoot. \ufffdI am so much happier with the shots I got the second time, so I&#8217;m very thankful\ufffdI had to time to do so.<\/p>\n<p>I think I am finally getting better at editing. \ufffdWhile, it took a lot longer than I was hoping, I&#8217;m really satisfied with the final product. \ufffdI also think my lower thirds were good enough where a narration was not necessary. \ufffdMy only concern is that the words go by too fast, so I hope they&#8217;re up long enough to read without having to pause it constantly.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m overall really happy with how my work turned out. \ufffdI hope you enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HFTAbbXWRGE&amp;feature=youtu.be\">the video<\/a>!
