If you ever felt like you couldn't be your true self perhaps you weren't in Berlin.'

Before the musical began in Tyron Festival Theatre.

Cabaret, a true masterpiece full of meticulous details that truly made the show shine! This musical not only made you feel like you could connect with the characters such as Sally, Clifford, Fraulein Schneider or even Herr Schultz but it made you feel like you were part of the show!

This musical made you feel like you were sitting on the train with Clifford Bradshaw and Ernst Ludwig on the way to Berlin. As the musical transitioned into different scenes throughout the show, the directors of this show made it possible to make you feel like you right alongside these characters throughout the entire show. For instance, when Cliff and Ernst were on the train, the train was coming towards the audience which made it feel like you were actually on the train with these characters, dashing in on their conversations.

Another scene that reminded me of how thought out the entire performance was planned was when Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz ended their engagement. When Miss. Schneider entered her apartment, the set immediately began to transition. As the set was turning you could see Fraulein Schneider sitting down in her apartment devastated and conflicted with the decision she had just made. It is little details like that throughout the entire show that made you feel like you connect with the character and feel like you're next to them at the same time.

Cabaret was unlike any other other show I have ever attended. It represented freedom from oneself, success, doubt, and carefree living. Anyone that attended Cabaret, left with the reminder that whether things work or not, it is always worth taking the shot.'
